T & T Tool, Inc. was started in 1977 by Tom Kriskovsky out of his garage in the town of Trego, Wisconsin. It was primarily a die building shop that included Tom and one employee. In 1981, Tom moved the business into a small building in Spooner, Wisconsin. T & T Tool then consisted of four employees and three customers. The company continued as a die building shop until 1985, when Steve Sundeen became a partner. Over the next five years the customer base grew to over 80 accounts and the focus shifted from die building to replacement parts for the wood products industry.

The business grew to include 40 employees and moved into a new building in 1989. At that time 60% of the workload at T & T Tool was directed towards the wood products industry. As the business continued to grow and diversify, a second building (Plant 2) was built in 1996 and the staff reached 60 employees. The original building (Plant 1) now houses the die department, manual and cnc mills & lathes, inspection department, shipping & receiving, and all support staff. Large fabrications, welding, laser and press work takes place in Plant 2. Since 1990, the company has built welding fixtures for Caterpillar, and in 2001 began marketing this service to many other existing and new customers. From the late 1990's and into the 2000's, T & T Tool has continually increased its customer base and is constantly looking for new markets and opportunities.
