T&T Tool has been supplying knife clamps to the Panelboard industry since 1984. Our competitively priced clamps are of the highest quality. When compared to the OEM's product in the field, our clamps performed as well, or better.

In 1998 we established a test site for our new plasma coated knife clamps. These clamps were put in use the first quarter of 1999 and were run side-by-side with chromed clamps. Findings showed that the plasma coated clamps held up better than the chromed clamps. The mill that tested these clamps not only paid for the original set after testing, but also immediately ordered another set.

The plasma coated clamps are far superior in resistance to chipping and they have a slippery surface to allow the flakes to pass over easier, which creates less wear on the surface. This coating is not a hazardous material like chrome and one of the most important features is lower cost so you, the customer, will have good performance at a reduced price.
